The Pavilion

RNT is working on a £500,000+ project with Ramsey Cricket Club (RCC), Ramsey Million Partnership and award winning architect Dan Jones from CIVIC London to create an exciting community sporting hub on the existing RCC site.  The Pavilion is much more than a building, it is a place where the community will be able meet and learn new skills through the combination of community and sporting activities. The Pavilion will continue to be the home of Ramsey Cricket Club and other community activities such as BOSH & CRUNCH youth clubs and The Dog’s Meet Community Café, as well as enabling new groups and activities. Once completed, RNT and RCC will co-manage the building, in consultation with the community, under a new organisation ‘Ramsey Pavilion Hub CIC’

The project was initiated by Ramsey Million Big Local and is being funded by grants from Ramsey Million Big Local and Cambridgeshire County Council.

Ramsey Community Market

Ramsey Neighbourhoods Trust holds the charter for Ramsey’s street markets.  The community market offering fish, fruits, vegetables, eggs, preserves, bread, baked goods, seasonal plants, and much more, is held every Saturday from 8.00 am to 2.30 pm on Great Whyte.  From April to September, an Artisan Market takes place, usually on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 10.00 am to 2.30 pm.  Special markets are held around Halloween and Christmas.  Pitches are available for traders, community groups and charities on a permanent or occasional basis.  A limited number of gazebos and tables are available for hire.
