A weekly youth club with summer events is now well established. Young people can receive basic youth work training and become club volunteers and then, when old enough, paid sessional staff. Ramsey Million Partnership commissioned the ‘Young People’s Counselling Service’ to work with our young people, after seeing that existing services did not meet community need. This service was oversubscribed from the start and has now secured funding to continue from other sources.

The Things We Do or Fund to Make a Difference (Activities)
- Create a safe and accessible hub/meeting space for young people (The Pavilion)
- Support/develop outdoor space and facilities for use by young people e.g. skate park/MUGA
- Provide positive activities for young people to engage in i.e. CRUNCH
- Support opportunities for young people’s development through training, volunteering and employment
- Support intergenerational activities bringing older people and young people together
