If you are looking for something meaningful and worthwhile to do with your spare time, please consider becoming a volunteer and/or trustee. You would be joining a brilliant team dedicated to delivering the events and services provided by the trust.
We have a wide variety of volunteering opportunities available. These range from helping out for a couple of hours at a daytime children’s club or a weekday evening session, to assisting with the organisation and supervision of our larger events. We also need support with our Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, such as helping serve lunches for a couple of hours during the school holidays.
By registering as a volunteer, you are under no obligation to commit to a set schedule. We will simply add you to our volunteers’ WhatsApp group. When we post upcoming opportunities, you can choose to put yourself forward for any slots that suit your availability.
Once you are on our volunteer register, you will receive all updates via WhatsApp. You can respond as and when your circumstances allow, whether that means helping at an event, supporting a session, or pitching in with some office admin. Being unavailable for a particular request will never stop you from being invited to help out with future activities.
